The brief for Sainsbury's was to create a new look for their home and garden furniture pages with a more editorial look and feel. I researched magazines, websites as well as creating mood boards for inspirations. What emerged was a look that Sainsbury's had never been able to achieve before due to its ancient CMS limitations, so it was a creative technical challenge as well as a visual one.
The Process
Many hours were spent looking at magazine, creating mood boards and sketching ideas. Having to work on an archaic system as well meant we could only preview the site after an overnight upload! This meant meticulous planning was needed before committing  any graphics to the site, as any mistake would take another evening to be rectified. Luckily we got it right!
